We want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate our sweetest resident Ms. Dorothy who turned 113 years old this past weekend. Ms. Dorothy holds the status of the oldest (wisest) person in the state of Maryland. We are so appreciative of everyone who came out to celebrate such a monumental occasion and celebrate the life and accomplishments of Ms. Dorothy. She is a blessing and an inspiration to all and we are extremely grateful for her and her family for sharing their life and legacy with us. ❤️
A special thanks goes out to the Hyattsville Police Department, the Hyattsville, Maryland - Municipal Government Administration, Hyattsville Mayor Robert Croslin, Hyattsville City Administrator Tracey Douglas, Hyattsville Ward 5 Council Member & Council President Joseph Solomon and Hyattsville Aging in Place for taking time out of their day to visit our community at Independence Court of Hyattsville to join the celebrations of Ms. Dorothy with all who have been touched or impacted by her strength, perseverance, kindness and love that she has demonstrated throughout her years.
